The Support Parent Network is a network of volunteer parents whose children have a wide range of disabilities and conditions. These parents
are available for one on one contact with other parents who may be facing a new diagnosis or just a new issue in their child’s life. Family Support Network of the Sandhills currently has 12 trained volunteer Support Parents, including 2 dads, in Moore County. Nonetheless, with the growing rate of families receiving new diagnoses, we are in search for more parents to fill this role.
