Hi! Like my FSN partner I too am part of a military family. My husband is in the Air Force. However, since we've been married for 5 years, this is only our 3rd and (may I add) last stop, as we're planing to stay here after retiring.
I'm from Brazil, where I met my husband and where I left everything behind to follow him wherever he took me...A little over a year after we got married we had our first child. Our beautiful son Wallace was diagnosed with Down Syndrome shortly after birth, and right then and there life as we knew would never be the same again...He is 4 years old now, and let me tell you, I learned more with him in these last 4 years than in my entire life!!
Sure it's been challenging to have a child with special needs, but it has also been inspiring, enlighting, all amazing things we learned, all the wonderful people we get to meet and all that extra special and sweet love we get from our oh, so sweet and absolutly special boy...
And then more excitment and joy came to our life with William, who will be 1 in March. Now our family is complete and we are all together in this amazing journey God put us in.
All is Well...
